A skiing accident earlier this year threaten to sideline Darcy, she was afraid she would never ride again.  Many other people would have taken that as a sign to take it easy and give up riding for good.  Not Darcy.  After her horrible accident, and lots of community support and physical therapy,  Darcy is gearing up to complete in her first Century Ride this month!  We heard from Darcy a few weeks ago when she gave our Hoo Ha Ride Glide a perfect review.  This is the email we received from Darcy:             

 “ I have been meaning to send you an e-mail to thank you for making one of the best products in the world.  Your Hoo Ha Ride Glide is incredible!  I received a small sample of the stuff at a cycling charity event I went to in June in Coronado and once I used it I knew it would be part of my cycling routine for ever. Absolutely love your products!!  I’m an elite triathlete and have been using Hoo Ha Ride Glide for about 10 months now.  I won’t go on a ride without it!  I bought my first tube after receiving a sample and noticing that the ingredients are safe and natural.  On top of it, Hoo Ha Ride Glide smells great and has a gentle, cooling sensation.  I became hooked, and haven’t used any other product since.  It even comes along with me to my triathlon races where I also use it on my neck and underarms for protection against wetsuit chafing as well.

[I'm also a fan of  the Reflect Sport hair care products ]….The Reflect H20 Shampoo, Conditioner, and Pre Swim & Sun Protecing Gel.  I got hooked on [them] recently.  The outdoor pool where I train recently switched back over to chlorine from saltwater, leaving my thin hair dry and smelling like chlorine.  I use the Pre Swim & Sun Protecing Gel  before  I swim, and wash my hair immediately after I get out of the water.  Not only does the shampoo and conditioner smell fantastic, but they take the chlorine out of my hair leaving, it nice and soft!  Safe ingredients!  Really appreciate the love and care that went into making these wonderful products for active women!

The Reflect Sports “Hoo Ha Girls” were in full force at Interbike, Las Vegas, September 2010.   This year Reflect Sports partnered with The Bike Cooperative and member dealers were running around from booth to booth to complete their Power Buy orders, collect raffle tickets, earn rebates, and give themselves as chance to win a 2-day Napa Valley, CA bike trip.   Reflect Sports also had a great time networking at the private Triathlete Magazine happy hour at the V-Bar, Venetian Hotel Wednesday night.

Day 2, the Reflect Sports booth gained a lot of attention during the hosted Happy Hour, sponsored by Pyramid Beer.   Free beer was given to people that knew exactly what Hoo Ha Ride Glide was!

The guys really enjoyed learning all about Hoo Ha Ride Glide for an icy cold beer.

I was pleasantly surprised by Hoo-Ha, and have used it exclusively since. I
like the light feeling and the cooling sensation, which lasts for quite some
time after applying. And it definitely works better to reduce chafing during
my races and rides. I am an entry-level, amateur racer who is still learning
and working out the details; and this stuff has been a godsend. It gives me
one elss detail to stress about on race day, and works equally well for
cyclotouring. An added bonus is that it launders out easily afterwards and
doesn’t stain my shorts. I am glad to have a tube on hand for the rest of my
short-track season, and I’m sure it will come in handy during cyclocross
season as well.

My friend, who is an active woman of size, has struggled with chafing issues
for years. She refused to use Bag Balm on her shorts, and continued to suffer
on rides that would get cut short because of the chafing. Last week, I finally
persuaded her to try applying some Hoo-Ha to her shorts before a ride. Three
rides later, her chafing problems have been greatly reduced, and she wants a
tube of her own (which I just ordered for her this morning).
